Screening a noisy market
CoinScreener started by helping crypto traders surface unusual market activity and trading information from a crowded, fast-moving market.
CoinScreener began with a simple belief: powerful market tools should help more people see what matters—and understand why it matters.
Crypto markets move continuously and produce more information than any one person can reasonably follow. CoinScreener is built to reduce that burden by detecting defined conditions, organizing relevant evidence, and explaining complex context more clearly.
“For everyone” does not mean removing risk or replacing judgment. It means making serious tools easier to inspect, understand, and use responsibly.
CoinScreener started by helping crypto traders surface unusual market activity and trading information from a crowded, fast-moving market.
The product expanded across alerts, analysis, Signals, and mobile delivery while we learned where automation was helpful—and where stronger evidence was needed.
V2 was planned as a broad expansion across many features. Feedback from the traders who used CoinScreener made the real priority clearer: better curated strategies, stronger evidence, and a more dependable experience. We chose not to release a product spread too thin.
We skipped V2 and spent another six months rebuilding around what customers valued most, investing heavily in the strategy research, testing, infrastructure, and product foundations behind every selected Signal.
The result is a more focused and capable CoinScreener: clearer Alerts, deeply curated Signals with evidence, useful watchlists, timely push, improved reliability, and consistent web and native experiences.
Our customers told us that stronger, more carefully curated strategies mattered more than an ever-growing list of features. To bring that focus to CoinScreener, we built AlgoHive—a dedicated strategy platform backed by significant investment in research, market-data infrastructure, backtesting, deployment, and monitoring.
We put that work in so every selected strategy can be developed deliberately, tested against historical market data, versioned, refined, and observed before it reaches CoinScreener. When historical testing is published, traders can inspect the evidence. Market-condition Alerts remain separate and are detected by CoinScreener’s own defined logic.
Explore AlgoHiveWe have kept the original V2 announcement in our journal for transparency. Our new article explains how listening to customers changed our priorities, what the additional time enabled, and what existing users can expect.
